a VERY BIG day in the world of metal

or I should say

"LACK" of metal

as today was braces removal day 

for Shelby

this was 4 years in the waiting...

there is a year of clear retainers

in her future

but she is not complaining

she is just thrilled to have a 

"toothy" versus "metally" smile

and as I am in denial of how

quickly she is growing up

I am NOT talking about how

grown up and beautiful 

she looked as soon as she

became metal-less.
