Mr. Kaeden
who turns 7 today
and boy has he packed a lot into his 2,555 days &
I can only imagine what things lie ahead for him (and us) in the next 29,200 days.
Anyone who follows this blog will already know what a hambone we have on our hands and we love 99% of every single moment we have with him.
My Birthday tribute list this year is going to be:
SEVEN things I LOVE about Kaeden
1. He can make you laugh when it is the last thing you want to do.
2. His quick one liners, that sometimes are so witty, I struggle to keep up with him
3. how gentle and kind he is with young children, especially newborn babies. He is loud and quick most of the time EXCEPT when he is around a young baby, he is so quiet and gentle
4. that he is very polite. Manners are very important to me and even though I know he is not perfect 100% of the time, for the most part he is a very nice young man who is kind to others
5. listening to him sing to the radio in the backseat while I am driving.
6. his quirky eating habits. pickles with every meal and chicken noodle soup anytime he can get it.
7. his excitement over Christmas this year, I have been struggling with getting into the spirit for some reason and Kaeden's exuberance is starting to rub off.
We had his big birthday party on Sunday so today he was able to pick dinner or a movie and he decided we would all go see the new Chipmunk movie (ah, the things you do for your children!).

Happy Belated Birthday Kaeden! 7 things we think are great about Kaeden:
1. He makes McKenzie laugh harder than anyone we know.
2. He owns a Slap Chop
3. His sense of timing is impeccable
4. That he whispers funny Christmas Carols when McKenzie is around so she does not learn them from him...so thoughtful.
5. That Kaeden stories make me laugh out loud at work when I am reading the blog and now there are many Kaeden "followers" in my office waiting to see what he will say or do next.
6. That he helped McKenzie open her birthday gifts when she lost interested and had no problem with opening Barbies and My little ponies...he is very secure in who he is.
7. That we are so lucky to have him around cause he is a great person to know.
